Welcome to Christ Lutheran!

"Where it feels like family"

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This message contains information about worship services on Sunday, January 24.  We will be online at 8:30 with traditional worship!  Again, THIS SUNDAY there will be FULL MASKING ONLY ON THE PIANO SIDE OF THE CHURCH AND MASKING REQUIRED ONLY DURING SINGING ON THE PULPIT SIDE!!  This is a return to our practice before November 22.

We continue to ask ALL WORSHIPPERS TO WEAR THEIR MASKS ENTERING, EXITING and GOING TO THEIR SEATS.  People who sit in the main section of the church on the piano side will be required to wear their masks throughout the service.  And those who sit in the main section AND the up-front section on the pulpit side need only wear their masks to enter, exit and while singing.  Thank you for your cooperation in this change.  Please pass the word on to anyone who you know.

This Sunday, January 24 we will worship in-person at all three of our regular worship times – 8:30, 9:45 AND 11 a.m.   Here are details about both our in-person and online worship for this week.

During in-person worship we continue to sit at a social distance in every other pew, we continue to clean the pews between services and we are still not passing an offering plate or receiving Holy Communion up front, rather we receive communion at our seats using the pre-prepared communion kits.

Our worship is also available to you as a Facebook Live stream. If you decide to join us in worship via Facebook, we will be Live at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.  Our worship this week will be traditional with hymns, lessons, a sermon, prayers, special music from a small choir AND Holy Communion.

If you choose, you may participate in Holy Communion at home; communion kits are available to you here at church.  A volunteer at the church will distribute them on Friday between 11 a.m. and noonShe will be in the parking lot by the office entrance (to your right as you drive toward the church building) to hand you your kit(s) and bulletin(s) through your car window.  You are also welcome to come by and get a communion kit this week from the church office between 9 and 3.

The bulletin is below, just in case you do not get to pick one up.  This will also be available for pick-up or at the in-person services.

Remember — YOU DO NOT NEED A FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TO PARTICIPATE!!   ANYONE WITH INTERNET ACCESS CAN GET TO THIS LIVESTREAM from the Christ Lutheran Facebook page (www.facebook.com/christlutheranchurchdubois).

Take care.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at [email protected].

In Christ, Pastors John and Amy
